Fibre-Reinforced Soil Mixed Lime/Cement Additives: A Review

چکیده
Soil modification is a technique for improving poor soil properties to make them suitable engineering projects. Regarding the previous studies, various types of stabilisations were used improve mechanical in soil. Several methodologies and experimental tests study positive negative effects utilising fibre on lime/cement-modified This paper reviews strength behaviour microstructural Fibre-Reinforced Lime Stabilised (FRLS) Cement (FRCS) Soil. First, impact FRLS/FRCS under freeze-thaw conditions, California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value, compression/tensile are all examined. Then synthetic natural fibres compared at microstructure level. FRCS/FRLS has been studied its influence geotechnical characteristics such as peak strength, residual ductility, bearing capacity, stiffness, settlement values. In addition, micro-level evidence demonstrates that lime/cement affects interlocking between particles fibre. Although improves by making it solid compact, makes stabilised brittle. Fibre reinforcement transforms brittleness into ductility. Hence building infrastructures soils possible if with an improvement method. Here, these three most additive materials investigated terms microstructural, mineralisation, some open issues suggested further research.

متن کاملFatigue Damage Modelling of Fibre-reinforced Composite Materials: Review
This paper presents a review of the major fatigue models and life time prediction methodologies for fibrereinforced polymer composites, subjected to fatigue loadings. In this review, the fatigue models have been classified in three major categories: fatigue life models, which do not take into account the actual degradation mechanisms but use S-N curves or Goodman-type diagrams and introduce som...
